Merapi is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Also a volcano eruption most often experience. Every four years, Merapi have eruption activity. The last eruption of Merapi was 2006. It continued in this year, 2010. But this year is unpredictable eruptions
Merapi has increased activity since October. Volcanic earthquakes occur hundreds of times more although only in small scale. Then the government raises the status of Merapi become alert. The also evacuated the residents who lived in first danger zone (about 5 km from the top of Merapi).

Volcanology experts from BMG could not ensure the activity of Merapi because eruption this year was not following the pattern of previous eruptions.
